If you're slow and stand in front of ggg you have zero chance of beating him. This why the story of him koing cruiserweight champs in sparring makes sense. You need to have movement, power, and elite defense to give him issues. Guys at 168 are much slower and technically much more flawed than fighters like jacobs and canelo. After he unifies, I see him continuing the ko streak at 168 easily.

GGG's style would work even better at 168 and 175.

wrong, coming forward pressure style works less against bigger, stronger boxers.
also, what ko streak are you talking about? that's over with.

Golovkin may be able to beat guys like fonfara or Chavez jr, but the legit top guys would beat his ass

GGG doesn't stand much of a chance with any top guy above 160. He isn't knocking out 160 as of now. Those punches canleo hit him with are going to have a whole different effect coming from bigger guys. And triple Gbis there to be hit

Unless he has trouble making 160 he should stay a middleweight which is his natural weight class. It's hard enough to rule your natural weight class without making things harder for yourself by fighting bigger, stronger harder hitting men. He shouldn't go to 175. All things equal heavier boxers beat lighter boxers. The best boxers at 168 and 175 aren't all a bunch of slow unskilled plodders. There are some fast fisted skilled boxer-punchers at the top level of those weight classes. Kovalev is at 175 and he is fast and a killer puncher.
