  • Congrats To Loma For...

...beating yet another overmatched, undersized, b-level opponent.

If tonight didn't illustrate exactly why Arum and Vasyl are staying far, far away from a match with Mikey Garcia, nothing will.

Lost among all the dazzling footwork, bravado, and technical excellence were all the telltale signs of why we haven't seen this guy in tough since Salido.

And I dont think a tough test is coming next either.

He's already beaten the brakes off Russell Jr, Walters, and Sosa with less than 10 fights. Let him take a stay busy fight. He was up against a tough fighter who was never stopped and even gave Oscar Valdez a very tough fight.

Russell who is almost as much hyped as Loma, Walters off a long layoff who may have never been elite in the first place, and Sosa who no one is going to mistake for Alexis Arguello.

      That's Loma's claim to fame?

That's who we are saying earns him P4P?

And Oh yeah, he has 400 amateur fights, which is helluva lot of experience itself, and 6 pro fights no one is counting.

So, spare me how unprecedented it all is.

      It's hype.

Let's just hope he actually lives up to it.

Hang on - you're calling out Loma for fighting an undersized guy, then in the same sentence claim that he's being kept away from Garcia, who last fought at 10lbs heavier than Loma? Well then what the **** would Garcia be doing?

**** me sideways, people aren't even trying to hide their stupidity these days.

You're an idiot - try again.

Insane how the double standards on here are just blatantly spewed... No shame, either.

              Trudat.

But, the layoff should have had some of us knowing better.

But again, Walters is very good, just not elite.

He is like a Matthew Macklin or a Steve Cunningham, very good and even capable of winning a belt, but not elite.

Mikey went up in weight to challenge Broner.

That's what real P4P guys do, they challenge themselves once in a while.

A fight between Loma and Mikey would be at 135, a weight both men would be comfortable at.

No double standard, just a guy trying to ignore the fact that Mikey is a 135 lber right now and that Loma can easily fight at 135 as well.

Anything to protect your new icon, I guess.

Mikey WENT UP IN WEIGHT to fight Broner.

Maybe Loma should actually try challenging himself as well.

Hell, he doesn't even have to go up to do it.

Rigo is there at 126, maybe they can do a catchweight if Loma can't make 126 anymore.

Point is, there are real opponents out there for Loma and somehow he is finding a way not to fight them, opting for Sosa and Marriaga instead.

He's not ranked number 1 on P4P list (except Atlas list wich is a bad list), Ward is.

Crawford's claim to fame are Ricky Burns and a smaller Gamboa.

Mickey, an over the hill Broner and an over the hill JuanMa.

He's not more overrated than others fighters on P4P list.

Just stop hating on the dude and appreciate his skills.

The main thing about you is YOU'RE HATER NOT A BOXING FAN, look at your avy, hating on a fighter.

This thread, again discrediting a fighter.

Can you post something positive for once or your life is just that shtty??
