Mike Stafford is terrible, just god awful. Doesn't do mits properly thats for damn sure.

I think Teddy Atlas would be a great trainer for Adrien. Who do you guys think would be ideal. He needs to Throw more fuggin punches

You guys need to let this go. Adrien just isn't that good, a new trainer wouldn't help. He isn't beating anyone B level or above

Yeah when Broner's entire corner was telling him to throw more punches and he didn't listen to them the trainer is clearly at fault.

New trainer wont make a difference, weve heard it all before from AB. Hes new and improved, about boxing now, turning over a new leaf blah blah blah.

Bottom line is hes simply not good enough to beat elite fighters. Hes like mayorga, talks **** to hype fights but never really wins them.

For sure Broner needs a new trainer. Idk about Atlas doe. That doesn't seem like a great fit. Maybe get him in with Virgil. Virgil seems like a guy who doesn't bs you & has a strategic mind that can switch things up when needed. Thats what Broner needs not a guy trying to confuse Broner in the corner with Fireman speeches & fun dramatic sh^t but not likely to be real helpful to a hot & cold guy like Broner. You gotta do Broner like he's a kid & stay constantly on his ass. Otherwise he's gonna venture off into some bs.

Randomly its sorta amazing so many boxers just stick with the guy who found them more or less. Like they don't appreciate their own abilities or something. Most of the guys we talk about would be top 20, top 30 guys, worst case, if they had Ruben Guerrero training them. Sometimes you gotta realize what got you where you got, that quite often being your own adeptness at boxing, natural skills + quickness with learning, & how much a high level trainer can help a high level athlete in boxing vs the mid-level trainer who found you when you were 8 or 12 or whatever.

He's one of the few cases where I feel he would benefit more from a strength and conditioning coach + tough sparring to set it in his mind what he can't do.

He lacks the boxing IQ and timing to be as inactive as he is. Can't set traps, can move from a defensive position to an offensive position when dealing with punches coming his way.

He basically wilts when his opponent throws at him and does nothing whem they're not because he is waiting for an opening that he can't capitalise on.

He needs to be proactive. I don't know why he isn't because when he is throwing hands, they have desirable effects. Only thing I can think of is conditioning and attitude.

Broner doesn't need a new trainer, he needs to not be Andrian Broner. He thinks he's smarter than everyone else so a different trainer would be a waste of time. With his personality it's amazing he's achieved such prosperity. His flashy style worked with lower level guys not with today's elites of the sport. New career not new trainer.

That seems like a terrible fit. Broner is not Mayweather, and trying to be "cute" didn't work for him at all. I'd say Broner would be better with an offensive minded trainer like Freddie Roach.

Broner wasn't badly hurt by Garcia's punches, and had he best rounds at the end of the fight when he threw caution to the win. Had he come out from the opening bell moving forward and looking to do damage we might have had a different fight.

Last night reminded me of Guerrero-Berto..... stop pretending you're slick and get to work.

Type of guy who no doubt looks tremendous in sparring/training but under the lights he just doesn't produce.

I think there is a bit of an identity crisis going on. He just tries too much to be something he isn't. Moving, feinting, trying to draw leads, everything thrown at the same speed - when he isn't a counterpuncher IMO certainly not a very good one. He just p1sses rounds away doing this. There is so much going on yet worryingly there is nothing going on at the same time because he's completely ineffective with it.
I think he does his best work when he's on the front foot and letting his damn hands go. He's best when he is walking guys down and putting combinations together.
