  • Let's be real, Ward moving up in weight again is a terrible idea

This talk from him about cruiserweight and heavyweight is suicide. Does anyone think he can beat a top cruiser?

If he has Tony Weeks he can beat anyone. Not many people can handle low blows and a paid off referee.

That talk of Ward vs Joshua is pretty funny to imagine... I get that a fight is won psychologically to a certain extent, but a 7ft 250+lb man, who also happens to be the HW champ?

Maybe against Parker he has a chance.

I would skip CW. Too many dangerous fights for Ward there. If he is going to risk he can do it like Roy. Go for a belt at HW and Parker is most realistic path IMO.

Joshua's balls are at his chest level, Ward wouldnt even have to crouch down to punch him in the nuts. ward beats Joshua easily and can become heavyweight champ.

Though I think he can be competitive at cruiser, I don't think it's a good idea. I didn't even think 175 was a good idea but he proved me wrong. He's not big at 175 though. He's going to be dwarfed at cruiser and there ar eno money fights for him there because Americans are oblivious to that division (unfortunately).

PLENTY of good fights at 175. Beat Stevenson. Maybe take a Golovkin mega-fight. Go fight Degale in the UK at catchweight. Unless he wants to prove something to himself or his kids, there's no reason to go to cruiser. The fans aren't calling for it.

He's getting called out on it though. Every time these guys start their anyone from 154 to 168 **** it's gonna be "Ward duckin' Joshua doe". But that's only what his fans deserve...

He should defend his titles and clean out 175.

Then if he wants to test himself at heavyweight make it his last fight.

There are no John Ruiz level belt holders right now though.

190 is not nearly as good as 175, Bellew already has beaten a top 10 cruiser and was knocking out guys that had never been stopped.

Guys like RJJ were going 10 rounds with punchers like Lebedev, these guys hit hard, but have trouble landing their shots.

175 is arguably the best division in boxing, perfect mix of skill and power. Even 190's champion Usyk, has been rocked and put down by Beterbiev in the amateurs.
