The idea of cultural appropriation is real. Its not a thing where people are upset at the idea that if blacks come up with a dance, hairstyle....or Mexicans create a flavorful dish and people wanna eat it. The argument is how dare you marginalize and disrespect an entire group or at least the majority and then turn around and use what they created and act as if white people created it and try to remove the history of said creators.

You think the white girl at the college event with cornrows it telling everyone white people invented cornrows?

This ain't cultural appropriation. This is emo f#ggotry from kids who grew up getting 9th place trophies & never got told there wrong.

There is DEFINITLY still racist sh^t & horrible injustices going on in the world today, but some girls hairstyle of choice this week or hoop earrings ain't got a mfing thing to do with it.

If white people stuck to country music or rock for that matter, hip hop would have never took off and it would have died off when Tupac and Biggie died. Hip hop would be less popular and would have limited success like other non-mainstream genres of music like death metal, math rock, jazz fusion or shoegaze.

Maybe that would have been a good thing because most hip hop that came after Tupac and Biggie sucked balls.

The term Columbusing is a legitimate term people coined to explain the many things folks create that white people will flip and act as if they created it or are better at it.

Fair enough Pandas, but still......cultural appropriation all the same

You're not keeping up with them.

They pointed out how your claim was ridiculous. You didn't address that, but instead only repeated your ridiculous claim again.

What person of any race, culture or religion is "acting as if they created" any f#cking thing. I've never even seen a black dude hyping up peanut butter in the grocery story in my life.

Randomly can white & Hispanic people buy peanut butter or it that stealing culture? And why can black & Hispanic people legit take a sh^t if a white dude invented a toilet? Is cultural appropriation okay if you gotta poo bad enough?

F#cking emo f#ggotry. I think I'm legit a emoist cuz you'll f#cking suck with your pussification of everything & crying all the time about injustices .
