  • Orlando Salido must be the G.O.A.T. or someone is getting hyped way too much.

With how Lomachenko is getting hyped up after beating Jason Sosa (Who?) as some atg that beats prime Pacquiao and Mayweather you would think Orlando Salido is the greatest of all time for already giving Lomachenko an official loss. He was young doe. Low blows doe. Weight advantage doe. It was a close fight but Salido got the official win no matter how you slice it. Lomachenko is a talented young fighter. Lay off the atg hype and him beating atg fighters until he has a resume to deserve being mentioned with legit greats. This is why people hate GGG and others... unwarranted hype. Check Salido's record at the time he beat Lomachenko .

        he is overhyped

p4p #1? WHO HAS HE FOUGHT....a loss to salido doesnt help

his skills are there but id have to see him deal with a rugged top fighter in their prime before i annoint him # 1 p4p

the guy has less than 10 fights and hasnt improved on some astronomical level so you just cant erase an official lose

The american media is overrating him, and HBO has shown that they are hyping eastern euro and central asian fighters a lot more than American and Mexican fighters...Its been clear since Mayweather and Pac got old and their era began to fade(who have more champions and top contenders in boxing period)

Check Lomachenko's record at the time he fought Salido before even attempting to compare him to anyone else.

And I love that you're trying to make a resume argument for a guy who has less than 10 fights. I genuinely laughed at how uncomfortable and defensive Loma made you.

Lomachenko could end up having an amazing career, even with the loss to Salido, and even if loses more.

There is nothing wrong with losing, especially if you are taking chances.

Loma is extremely confident in his abilities. He only chose top rank because they promised him a title shot in his second fight. He actually wanted a title shot for his debut. He was over-ambitious.

He lost...and he learned from it. In his next fight he dominated Gary Russell, who had twenty something fights against complete bums. Loma was more prepared for that challenge because of losing to Salido than Russell was by fighting 20 bums.

We have to get past the mindset that having a loss or 2 is a horrible thing.

if it was a fighter they didnt like, it would be the end of the world

you know how these guys do on here

you just cant disregard the loss though, what if that style simply troubles him

Just because he lost a razor thin fight doesn't mean he can't be great. A lot of great fighters lost to guys that never made it to the hall of fame.

Lomachenko is well on his way to being great. Don't let any of his dumbass fans cause you to make a dumbass thread.

                    I wouldn't call a 29 year old a young fighter.
