Who will get the most Mexican support, Chavez or Canelo?

As someone that's not surrounded by many Mexican's being from the UK, i was wondering how this fight is perceived and who would be the more supported guy? would it be a 50-50 thing? a territorial thing? or would Chavez Jr. get a lot of support because his dad was a legend or Canelo is just more popular?

I do actually know a few Mexican people though and they seem to be siding with Chavez, although i'm not sure that's their actual predication.

I think Canelo is the the boxer most Mexicans will be rooting for. I don't know this for a fact. I am guessing he is more popular based on him getting paid more money and having thousands of Mexicans attending his fights. Chavez recently quit in the ring and that must have hurt his popularity. Canelo didn't defend his middleweight title against GGG and that cost him some popularity but he is still very popular. Canelo is a much better fighter in my opinion. I think most Mexicans also think he is the better, braver and harder training fighter.

talking amongst the mexican folks out here in L.A. the girls and metrosexuals are rooting for canela. the weed smokin thugs are going with chavez. canela burnt himself amongst the mexican crowd for pullin off that diva nonsense with GGG. the "chavez" chant will reign supreme come may 6th
