  • GGG interview on The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is the most syndicated urban radio show in America. One of the co-hosts, Charlemagne Tha God, is a big boxing fan. You might remember him from sparring Porter when he held a media workout and sparred a couple media people

GGG should be bigger than he is.. 24 straight KO's, isn't that what the people love?

This is a market that's largely ignored for some reason. I hear more boxing talk on this show than I do on sports talk radio. Sway in the morning is another radio host who is a big boxing fan. Boxing and hip hop go hand in hand. That's why it's confusing to me why ROC Nation is doing such a horrible job tapping into this market. All the money the urban crowd spent on Floyd & they're ignored. Outside of Canelo & GGG, Crawford & Ward sell tickets in their hometowns in urban areas. Bringer sells tickets in Cincinnati. I wanna see how this Easter Jr fight is gonna do but his people travelled to PA to watch him fight so I'm sure it'll sell well.

Honestly this is very good for gg. He can expand his fan base and get the urban community behind him. Props to gg for doing everything he can to increase his name. This will only make the fight with Canelo that much bigger

Charlemagne don't like him. Seems like the Breakfast Club weren'T even taking him seriously. Charlemagne should'Ve asked GGG if 15million was good enough since Golovkin said ''a lot of money'' when talking about Alvarez
