"Most respected Boxing analyst gave the fight to Ward." - Redd Foxx.
      It just makes me laugh.

Same thing I took from this, Kovalev won 3 rounds

Kovalev won that fight, plain and simple. Anywhere but America, the correct winner would have got the decision.

I like Paul Smith, but it does often appear that he has his scorecards filled out before a fight, depending on the fighter.

I rewatched it, and to me, you can't give a single round to Ward before the 6th(the first round I gave to Ward.
Kovalev clearly outpunched him with his jab and right hand, those jabs were poping hard on Ward's face.

So Ward needed to win the last 7 rounds wich didn't happen IMO.

All I need to know is Kovalev won the 12th IMO and so I think as a champion, Kova got robbed.

I'm not calling it "a could have gone either" anymore but more a "hometown decision" as that old fart of Merchant said.

Ward was beaten physically through the whole fight and was quite uneffective.

Still a close fight, but Kova is a clear winner IMO.

You gave ward the 6th of all rounds? Of course you can give him rounds before then. 3 and 5 were his. Nobody gave him the 6th

No way Ward is winning the 3th...or just rewatch it.
