  • Jacobs: I want BJS and possibly Canelo first. GGG can come in about about 18 months.

Danny Jacobs states publicly that he wants to fight GGG, but not now. Even though he says he wants the fight against GGG, he says that he wants Billy Joe Saunders first, then possibly Canelo, and then GGG. He wants GGG "in about one year and a half".

Will the haters still put the blame on GGG as usual? or in K2 as it seems to be the case lately? The man Daniel Jacobs, who is mandatory for GGG, does not want to fight GGG until 18 months later.

Daniel Jacobs infected with virulent "Canelo’s Syndrome”
The fight against Triple' G 'will come at the right time. Whenever this fight arrives, it will be fine for me in all aspects, and that's the only reason why the fight has not been made. I know it will happen very soon. I'd say in the next year and a half or something like that. I want to pick up the belts, and then go for taste. It will be much more valuable rather than just do it at this time. I'll fight anybody, and I want to fight Triple ‘G’. My point was that I wanted to fight BJ Saunders or possibly Canelo, and then go for Triple “G".

Welp, there goes what bit of admiration I had for Jacobs after he wiped out Quillin.

MW is the most pathetic division in boxing. A ****ing prospect is the only fighter with the balls to fight the best fighter there. Everyone else was castrated apparently.

At the very least he could pursue common opponents as GGG instead of a rematch w/Warren.

Willie Monroe Jr. just entered the Showtime side, why not? And he's from NY

its the perfect amount of time to get maximum gain and results for doing your stacks and be able to flush and get clean. Why did you think mayweather retired and came back right at the sweet spot.

          I kid I kid.

I'm afraid Jacobs will either be stripped of his interim title or vacate before he fights Golovkin. We missed out on Golovkin/Quillin b/c Quillin didn't want it, and Danny's acting the same way.

Canelo is the money man. Welcome to the world Floyd Mayweather lived in for the past 10 years. When you're the money man everybody calls you out. And you can't fight everybody so people will say you're ducking when you don't fight their favorite fighter. They saw the $4 mil number Eubank put up and now people calling him out.

TBH I want him stripped of the regular WBA title. Last thing I want to deal with is another 'mandatory' will-he will-he-not line of BS in 18 months. They need to strip Jacobs of regular title, and if Golovkin beats Eubank, that will eliminate the 'interim' WBA title. Bam, in 3 months we can eliminate 2 of the paper belts that float around the division.

Then if Jacobs wants to fight Golovkin, he'll come in as a normal challenger without any political bull**** involved.

There's no sense in arguing with Golovkin detractors. Its abundantly clear that facts do not matter to them.

When you read there is a verbal agreement GGG fighting Ramirez at 168 in 2017.

Then 160 guys, like "yeah, fighting GGG in 18 months..."
