  • why is al haymon so secretive of his moves and business?

why does he carry himself around as if he were a high ranking mob boss/hitman or something? he's just a boxing promoter for goodness sake. he literally has people walking around with him that walk up to anyone with a camera or camcorder and tells them to put it away or else. what does he fear so much about the spotlight? does he know he can run a proper business unless it has a friendly and familiar face?

Why does he have to show his face or speak to the public? He's the owner of a privately held company. You probably can't name the owners of most privately held companies and never seen their faces. If the man doesn't want his picture taken, respect his privacy.

He is not the one doing the work in the ring so I don't care.

boxing is one of the shadiest businesses on the planet.

haymon's been in lawsuits with most of the major promotors. they allege that he books venues / fights / dates and cancels them just to keep other fighters from being on TV, getting certain venues, or even just to make them a few months older before they fight again.

he's been basically acting as a promotor for years, and yet he's supposedly in the role of "advisor" to fighters, making a percentage of their purses the way a manager does. the muhammad ali act states that you can't both manage and promote a fighter. this is a very basic conflict of interest. managers are supposed to negotiate favorable terms with a promotor.

he's likely secretive about who he is and what he does because there are aspects of his business model that are illegal.

That's what Arum alleged and couldn't prove it in court. Stop listening to the Haymon Haters and #staywoke

I have a theory, He either A) Rape someone, B) molested someone C) both

this is why he is hiding doing everything in his power to stay out of the cameras, he afriad his victim will see and will get the courage to speak out and all of a sudden his past comes back to haunt him.

The man doesn't like the spotlight obviously or care for it much.
In the age of selfies fetishes and people camera happy I wouldn't mind being wealthy but without everyone in my business or knowing that I'm wealthy...less trouble.

Well seeing as nobody can prove it or find him guilty, he obviously has found some loopholes and a way around the law.

Anyway, it's not like people don't know he exists and most know what he looks like even if there is very few pictures of him. Maybe he just doesn't want to be photographed or feel the need to be the face of anything.

Plenty of people who are running a business do it from behind the scenes and let others be the face. Sam Watson seems to be that guy. I've never even seen the guy at the top of some companies i've worked with in different industries.
