  • Arum on Ramirez vs Golovkin: "We're building to that fight after GGG knocks out..."

"We're building to that fight. After Triple G knocks out Canelo then Zurdo will get revenge for the Mexican people."

My only concern is that they might try to force Zurdo to go down in weight. That wouldn't be a good look.

I know, so why look to fight a 160 fighter??? look up to 175 if you want to fight someone from another division.hell call out the winner of Ward-Kovalev or Stevenson

That's true, however 168 isn't utterly garbage like 160 currently is. Zurdo could make use at staying there for a little while longer. I hope they don't convince him to drop down to 160 to fight GGG.

GGG will gladly fight him at 168. He is not as good a fighter as Ward so it's not as risky to give up 8 pounds. It's the same sort of thing as Mayweather being happy to fight Cotto at 154 but Canelo at 154, no way.

Zurdo is young, doe... They should let that kid alone in order for him to acquire some more experience and then move up to 175.

I don't think the Golden Boy-Top rank feud is over at all. Arum insults Canelo every chance he gets. How does Arum know in advance that GGG will KO Canelo? Maybe he will and maybe he won't but Arum says GGG will KO Canelo as if no other outcome is possible.
