    HELL yeah!!
How about Ward vs Beterbiev anyone? Would be awesome if that match was lined up, but I doubt it

I can't comprehend how Beterbiev hasn't fought Adonis yet. Hopefully he fights someone like Fonfara then Artur can spark the pimp out

Looking forward to Beterbiev getting back in the ring. Hopefully he can get into a major fight before the year ends. Curious how he looks after his surgery.

Beterbiev will never face Stevenson, they're stablemate. Both Promoted by GYM (Yvon Michel) and advised Al Haymon. GYM will never put both in the same ring, thats why Beterbiev wont care much about the WBC belt for now, he'll prefer to choose the other path and go for Kovalev's belts. It would be a lose/lose situation for GYM.

There's literally no reason for GYM to rush that fight, especially with the WBO, WBA, and IBF light heavyweight titles all available to pursue.

Michel has Stevenson, Alvarez, and Beterbiev (all seen as top 10 175ers by BoxRec) under his banner; Beterbiev was on the verge of being the IBF mandatory challenger (with neither the WBA or WBO really pushing mandatory title defenses, the WBC title was the opportunity that opened up first for Alvarez).

Beterbiev can spark out Kovalev, and Michel could then put on a massive mega event in Montreal (not sure if the money difference would make things sensible enough to move the fight to an outside stadium rather than the 22k-seat Bell Centre) to unify the division.

With Stevenson and, arguably, Beterbiev, Michel has two light heavyweights who can headline their own shows in Montreal. What's there not to comprehend?

Long path back for Beterbiev. Hopefully sometime in 2017 he can get a fight with the winner of Ward and Kovalev. But that's a while off. Bloody ramadan doesnt help.

The injury couldn't come at a worst time... The June fight will obviously be meaningless, then why not Shabranskyy, Gonzalez or Barrera ? I agree with the Ramadan being a downer too... This year from June 7th to July 5th... Not that bad since he can still train but the day cycle is completely messed up during that time...

BTW it was a shoulder injury, not a hand injury...

You say this like its a forgone conclusion. Im curious as to why. Ive watched the fights Beterbiev has had as a pro and he looks awesome for a prospect and has fought extremely good competition for a guy with 9 fights but surely you dont think he is ready to step in with Kovalev and just walk thru him.

Because neither of them can sell anything worth a ****. Chickenson can't even fill up a third of the venues that he headlines at, that's how pathetic his stock is and has been since he signed with Gaymon.

****ing talking about stadiums for two nobodies nobody gives a toss about.
