  • Wilder should avenge his knockout loss

    to Krzysztof Zimnoch

Krzysztof is 18-0 as a pro now, and climbing the rankings.

The headgear saved wilders life in this fight, Zimnoch beat the **** out of him.

    Does wilder have the guts?

Would be a easy fight to sell.

Too bad that KO in the video has been Evgenyi Romanov, and not Zimnoch. Nowadays he'd beat them both, no doubt about it. Povetkin is a way harder challenge.

Thanks for that. I checked the guy out on boxrec and he is ranked 79th in the world. Wilder can't defend his title against him now because it would be considered his worse cherry pick title defense yet. If this guy keeps winning and gets a higher ranking then Wilder should fight him. The video shows that Wilder has always had a weak chin and he has shown that in pro fights as well. Wilder is often referred to as a work in progress who is learning and improving on the job as a belt holder. That may be true but nothing can make his somewhat weak chin disappear. That's why I don't think he is the future of heavyweight boxing even with his excellent hand speed and power. Sooner or later he will have to fight guys like Ortiz who hit much harder than Zimnoch.

Wilder had only been boxing for 2 years at that time.

He had literally never set foot in a boxing ring until late 2005.

That amateur fight was in 2007. Today's Wilder would annihilate that guy.

Correct. It's Romanov, not Zimnoch. And clearly Povetkin is better..
