As long as they want, they don't have to stop when Rick wakes up because it's a completely new set of characters that have never met Rick or the group as far as i know.

Hands down, the most overrated show right now. It should've been cancelled a long time ago.

I hope they don't honestly. I just want it to end with everyone dying so we know how the zombie apocalypse wiped out almost everyone.

They can have the series finale with a bird's eye view shot of zombies devouring people in every state, country, or continent and I'll be satisfied. I don't want this longer than 2 seasons personally.

I think most viewers either genuinely like it or feel they are too invested to stop. It has its dull moments and it has its good moments like the Season 5 episode 1 start.
