Pirog would have had a great chance, what you need is enough pop to get GGG's respect or be bulldozed, good enough defense to not be mashed up, and unpredictable movement fast enough where GGG is unable to easily direct you where he wants you which is one thing he does great.Originally posted by Sugar Adam Ali View PostComment

Pirog is very good. He was good enough that Martinez put him on his list of guys never to fight. GGG is the best until someone can prove otherwise. Pirog is a dangerous fight for any middleweight. I pick GGG to win in his usual KO fashion but it would probably go more rounds than most GGG fights and he might lose some rounds to fast boxer-puncher Pirog.Comment

Sturm got the bright idea to offer Geale a chance to unify so Geale pulled out of the Pirog fight.
