iMac 5k how do iTunes videos look while in 4k

I haven't found any video of someone playing iTunes movies while on 4k or 5k plus can someone make a video of how it looks or tell me how iTunes movies look in 4k. PLiz or else I'm getting the MacBook pro if it does not look good cuz they are standard 16 hb ram and flash storage. Plus they are portable and everyone is saying they are better than the 5k iMacs. Faster but of the flash storage.

I have a 2560x1600 monitor and standard DVD's and 720p footage looks AWFUL on full screen. 1080p is decent though.

playing 1080p on a 4k computer monitor would just stretch it and it would look as bad as 720p looks on my desktop monitor.

So you mean liked dvdrips and blurry rips liked illegal movies that say they are 720p or 1080p?

Anything that isn't 4k resolution is going to be stretched out to fit your monitor. a 1080p bluray dvd will never look at good on a 4k as it will on a native 1080p monitor.

Have you ever watched a standard DVD or television channel through your 50+ inch 1080p television? Well thats what full screen bluray would look like on a 4k monitor.
