  • Good Invention: Anti-Reclining Seat Device

    http://www.gadgetduck.com/goods/kneedefender.html
Knee Defender™ helps you stop reclining airplane seatbacks so your knees won't have to.

Unique, patented Knee Defender™ is a truly practical travel accessory. And with its new design, this clever product looks cool, too.

It helps you defend the space you need when confronted by a faceless, determined seat recliner who doesn't care how long your legs are or about anything else that might be "back there".

Not to mention it's look, which screams out "class and sophistication"

Id be sooooooooooo pissed if somebody behind me used one of these. Surely a reclining seat to be more comfortable on the flight is included in the price of the ticket.

I do agree that there are more suitable times not to have your seat reclined like when the person behind you is eating etc, but still, these things should be banned on flights

totally agree. The 10 centimeters the chair is allowed to recline is about the only saving grace you will have during a flight, even though it barely helps with the mind-numbing discomfort those goddamn airplane seats provide you with. If someone was douchey enough to take that space away as well, I would protest by refusing to hold in my farts for the duration of the flight and pray to god they were bad enough to melt skin on contact.

It's kind of annoying that stuff like this even needs to enter people's heads. You'd think that two passengers would be able to have some sort of discourse and come to a compromise with regards to seat reclining.
