  • what happened to honest business practice?

    Seriously ?

Is it just me, or is everything a scam, the fine print, terms and conditions, misinformation and lies ?

What happened to genuinely offering a better price, quality or service?

    Eg.

I'm hassled in a shopping centre to sign up to unlimited, high speed broadband for $49 a mth. Anyway I say no, **** off but take the brochure and Late while waiting for the wife I get bored and read the brochure.

Thing is, it's a great deal except, it's not unlimited it's up to 250gb, it's not high speed as it's adsl not adsl2+ up to 3mb/s a d it's not $49 a mth, it's only for direct debit which ncludes a 9.95 admin charge!

    Everything is the same now.

I'll sell you a shiny apple for a dollar but you really get a lemon for $1.50

This is now standard for everything, hidden charges, admin fees, etc etc it's a joke
Why has it done to this ? What happened to fair trade ?

    Edit:

Ok it seem like you're all in bed so I'll give so e more examples.

I don't drive to work I ride a bike so I looked to change insurance and got a quote based in Kms and it was $13 a mth cheaper than my current, so I ring to cancel and they say why ? I tell them I can get the same coverage for cheaper and they say well we can beat that by $12 a mth based on new info.

So I agree to stay with my current insurer except after a mth my wife notices the bill is the same as before plus $4 a mth, so I ring and they say that while they agreed for a cheaper price it was reviewed after a mth and my new price is $4 more thanc my original price which is now $29more than the quote I found! Wtf!!

It's standard practice here and it's not illegal because it's in the terms and conditions. These are international companies like vodafone etc.

The point is why can't businesses give you what they offer without hidden shLt?

Things are very different in mother Russia.

Here, multinational corporations tells u one thing but delivers another and most people just pay it because we get most things free because our socialist government is funded by our massive mining industry.

          Which is fine for now.

Except it's not gonna last and I'm not gonna left behind while vodafone and co fux me in the ass.

Just stop the bull****e and conpete fairly!

I had he more faith buying weed from my high school dealer than I so In buying internet, insurance, or electricity from multinational corporations now!

when i buy a ppv the bill cracks $200 bucks. that's a lot of money to watch TV for a month.
