because khan is a potential cash cow and a big name for floyd and will take probably take a more safe top ww .... like collazo guerrero or even devon.
You see, that's so stupid. Why is Khan predetermined as an opponent? Why not make him earn it like Maidana?
Broner was the attraction, and Maidana beat him. Now people are interested in seeing that fight. Why can't Khan fight someone like Thurman or Porter, and the winner of that gets the next shot at Floyd?
why not? because for some reason gbp wants to make floyd/khan in the near future (september or next year?) and thurman would derail those plans by knocking amir's head off, what's sad is that khan will probably fight another julio diaz type of fight and get mayweather anyway

But here's a question. What if a Julio Diaz type beats him? Then we're stuck with a Julio Diaz type of fighter vs. Floyd?

Even Canelo had to earn it with Trout.
because floyd is about the money, and fighting khan would get him lots of money. if khan loses again especially if he gets kod, the fights scrapped. fighting thurman could get him hurt, and a floyd-thurman fight is obviously not marketable to gbp. or else they would be moving keith faster by now
