Boxing is not fixed. I refuse to believe this non-sense, ok maybe Canelo vs Angulo but that's it! Video is not working btw.

Of course there have been instances in the past where boxing was fixed. That fight last week was not fixed. I'm not sure why people seem to think it was. Angulo was outboxed by Kermit Cintron. He was throwing arm punches against Kirkland after the second round. To think the guy would take all those power punches then throw the fight is just dumb.

I think refs are also paid off or strong armed too.

I think rarely is the fighter paid off.

Angulo though? Man could use some extra cash.

This definitely DOES happen, but I really doubt Canelo-Angulo was fixed. Something was wrong with Angulo though, still probably wouldn't have won if he was right....

But there are instances where fights are fixed. It can be done several ways, i.e. paid judges, fighter is paid to throw it, referee receives instructions or is paid to steer the fight or combinations of those ways.

Don't know if Canelo vs. Angulo was fixed too. But something was DEFINITELY off about Angulo. And whatever it was, it was something significant.

Any of you guys remember Ray Mercer offing 100K to his opponent (gotta do a search to find out who that was) during a clinch to throw the fight

That was the last time I can really say that fight fixing was in ....
