  • Do you think the media is trying to glamourise cocaine?.

I know there has always been drug use in movies and whatnot. Seems like every other movie these days is glamourising it. The Wolf of Wall street was a 3 hour cocaine commercial.

I recently got hold of season 24 of The Simpsons (not watched for years) and couldn't believe it had references to cocaine in it and use of the word "cocaine".

Word on the street is that one time at a pub, you snorted coke off one of Nick Frost's fat rolls while he cursed at you in Gaelic.

        Is this true?

No. Haven't you seen Scarface ..1983? Tv/movie is all about exaggerating real life stuff

i have season 2 of the simpsons on DVD. it's f#cking magic. '89 and '90, IIRC.

            i've never tried cocaine.

it's definitely seen as a more acceptable drug for middle class people, and crack is seen as a "low class" drug. the media surely has something to do with that. the drugs are really quite similar. one is explicitly cut with baking soda, and the other is cut with other drugs and fillers.

never saw the wolf of wallstreet. i hear good things. hopefully it makes it to HBO within the next year.

Actually the Bolivian was snorted off his ****, but let's not get caught up in the particulars.

Not exactly. Cracked is cooked cocaine which makes it more potent. Or something like that.
