The deal appears to be apparently done; Adam Booth is going to train Nathan Cleverly with the intention of strengthening his mind and body, pushing him far harder at his London fight factory with better, more competitive sparring and offering the kind of in-depth tactical advice and fight-planning expertise Clev has been accused of lacking in the past.
A couple of (deliberately) provocative questions for us to munch on.
Is it already too late for Nathan to benefit from this big, bold change? He can't change his spots and the talent just isn't there.
Is Booth over-rated or just too difficult to work with these days? Price came and went, Groves suddenly cut his ties (without becoming a bad fighter) and the Haye project does not have everyone convinced that Booth is the British Eddie Futch or Ray Arcel.
Which overview do you support; an always over-rated fighter giving it one last whirl with a now out-of-favour, available trainer? Or two guys, who if they gel, could get right back to the top and who have a point to prove?
