I was chatting with The Gambler about Dirrell, and how his career has went since this fight..So I re-watched it..Man this was a very strange ride of emotions..

Obviously AA was in the wrong for throwing the punch,Dirrell was also wrong tho..You can't throw ya self on the canvas to avoid punishment,it's dangerous and(imo)cheating..I feel bad that a super talent like Dirrell had this happen to him ya know..You don't wish this on anybody..

I hope other young fighters see this and understand that it's not a smart move to throw ya self on the canvas, your really vulnerable..It's very hard to defend your self from that position(and you must protect ya self at all times in the ring)..Makes me think back to a few weeks back when B-Hop slip on the floor and Murat,he covered up super quick..Murat threw punches as well..That is a very dangerous position..

This was a crazy fight, great one to re-watch..I hope Dirrell can come back or do something lucrative to provide for his family..

I don't think Dirrell was faking the injury,I do think he put himself in a bad position cause he was a bit hurt..He thought it could buy him a few ticks of the clock..He did the same in the Froch fight,if ya gonna do that tho do it right..Dude hit AA with a punch while jumping on the canvas and then left himself wide open..Big mistake right there..

shame...this fight more or less signaled the end of Dirrell's career as well as the end of Abraham's good fortune in the boxing ring. Dirrell was winning comfortably, but I hated his style...still you don't want to see what happened to him happen to any fighter. And I believe if Abraham would have accepted accountability for that punch then and there in the post-fight interview he wouldn't have lost so much respect.

Why does Dirrell's name get thrown around this board so much as of late? He got a lot of mileage out of that cheapshot, ironically it's also the nail in the coffin of his career.

At least he had the good sense not to come back into the public eye after that display.

I follow him on instagram, he seems to be in training and great shape but we all know he ruined his career going with 50

Is he in great shape??I have not heard anything about Dirrell for a min..If he still has it I hope we can see him again, boxing is not something you play..So if he is not 100%,I hope to never see him in a ring again..He could get seriously hurt if his heart is not into it..
