  • It's time to forgive

Which fighters who have been receiving a lot of guff do you believe should finally be forgiven and given another chance?

    1. Mora vs Molsey was a terrible fight to behold so Mora ended up being deservingly blacklisted from TV for a while. I thought his 3 fights were fairly entertaining though and he put in a solid effort to keep in fan friendly. He in a point in his career where he knows can't fight in the same way he used otherwise he'll get black listed again. His unlucky decision loss against Vera (the second one) and his win over Proksa should get him top 10 consideration, or at least borderline top 10. I thought he deserved the Golovkin fight a lot more than the Stevenson bum and also deserved the Chavez fight more than Vera.

    2. Carlos Molina has been in a number of entertaining scraps and I think it's unfair to write him off after the Kirkland fight. He has publicly apologized for his punch and hold performance and promised not to do it again. So far he's kept his promise, but in an ironic twist he's been a victim of fighting against spoilers himself lately. Unfortunately it's going to be difficult to clear his name until fight someones with the right style. When he does though, I believe he's capable of giving us an entertaining war.

David Haye needs to be forgiven. He's a profesional athlete so of course he's at risk of getting injuries.
With the amount of weight he pushes around it's likely that he injured his back when he was preparing for Wlad
He's a boxer so it's like he's going to injure his hands when he was supposed to fight Charr.
Cuts happen all the time in boxing postponing his fight against Fury.

He also needs to be forgiven for the toe excuse. A broken toe is no joke but he refused to pull out of the fight and gave his fans the best he could give on that night

I might receive some flak for this but I think Andre Berto should be forgiven. He was criticized for being a hype job who was over paid to fight nobodies but he is one tough SOB. He fought one handed against Soto-Karass for 8 rounds. He also showed a ton of grit and heart against Ortiz and Guerrero.

Amir Khan for his glass jaw. He got rocked by Garcia, Maidana and Prescott all who have solid power. But he's only been clearly defeated twice and takes on all challengers.

Devon Alexander for quitting against Bradley and his two gift decisions. He takes on tough fight after tough fight, backs down from no one and is being set up as an opponent to help build a Khan/Mayweather mega-fight.

Timothy Bradley for gift over Pacquiao. Was in a brutal war against Provo that took him 2 months to recover. He carries himself with class, works hard and fights his heart out. He deserves respect and should no longer be booed every time his face shows up on the screen.

Ehhh...no, i'm kind of there with you. Tough fight against Ortiz then that fight against Soto-K.
He's trying, he's at a point where he has to prove himself instead of having stuff handed to him

Jack Dempsey not not fighting in World War One.

He helped out with the coast guard in WWII & that means we should forgive him.

Will you lot just let it go already
