  • Why are people saying Canelo will walk down Trout?

Canelo doesn't walk his opponents down and doesn't even use a jab when he attempts to pressure. If you want to see a pressure fighter look at how effectively lucas and GGG will cut off the ring and use their jab to get to their opponent. Canelo does none of that. I don't see how Canelo will even get close to Trout here and I see a possibility of a canelo getting stopped based on cuts and swelling. I see Trout teeing off on Canelo the whole fight. The speed diffrence will be apprent right from the opening bell and Trout will force Canelo to fight for the full 3 minutes of each round no more punching bag welterweights here.

For all the tlak about Canelo punching power, Shane MOsley stood right in front of him for the full 12 rounds (yes he did get smahsed) but he went the distance fighting him. matthew Hatton went the full 12, ryan Rhodes took him 12 (bad stoppage), I will admit he's heavy handed but I don't see a one shot KO artist and that's what he'll need Saturday.

Bad fight for Canelo and bad style for him I don't see how he wins more than 4 rounds to be honest.

Trout isnt some super slick master boxer that people make out him to be. He is very hittable and gets somewhat lazy in there and rides with the flow of the fight instead of stepping on the gas. Just looking at the Cotto fight, you can see the flaws he has. That win relied heavily on Cotto being small and gassing

and Canelo gasses in fights an doesn't use his size at all. He isn't some fast paced pressure fighter like some people think he is,.

It would be great for boxing if Canelo wins since he is a young, undefeated star. But he is going to have an uphill battle against this monster southpaw. I see Canelo getting frustrated by Trout's speed and being unable to land the big shots. With each passing round, he's going to get more desperate, and that is when Trout is going to take advantage.

How should he use his size? He's a boxer puncher who throws a ton of fast hard combos.

                When did he gas also

This is going to be another tactical fight. Canelo best bet is to go to the body early and cut off the ring. If he stays in the middle he will get hit with those long arms of Trout, Trout will pop the jab over and over and move, and jab to the body.

Its a hard fight to call, its a real style match up, but Canelo can walk people down, he might just show it in this fight.

you never know, can't wait, There is only a few fighters who get me hyped up and looking forward to when they fight and Canelo is one of those guys.

all of that stuff comes mostly from fans talking with their PRIDE and not their BRAINS

Canelo has talent no doubt, he has some skills he has some Power...but he has A LOT OF WEAKNESSES as well that haven't been exposes because of the talent level he been fighting against so he has been able to get away with A LOT, I also think his Stamina is Questionable...But...we shall find out Saturday!
