  • Wow that was a statement beatdown for 140!

Everybody's talking about Khan, Matthysse, Garcia, Marquez and Rios. But nobody mentioned him. I'm kinda glad Bradley didn't fight him because that fight just got so much bigger now. Bradley couldn't even dominate Holt like that without taking a lethal knockdown shot first.

Does Khan fight for this rematch? This is a big fight that would really test if Khan should even fight Garcia especially with Matthysse rightfully making his place as Garcia's mandatory. Peterson outworked Khan last time I think he'd do it again.

I think he's live against Matthysse too. He's pretty damn tough and is pretty skilled he definitely would fight til the end. Its the fight I wanna see most since it would be such a war over at least 10 rounds maybe 12 if Peterson can survive.

Garcia still has a lot to prove against Judah probably his stiffest test yet since Judah on his good days when they rarely show up he can cause Garcia fits if he can't take him out early. But Garcia or Judah vs Peterson would be a sick fight too.

What's the most exciting fight to make at 140? Nothing beats Rios vs Marquez IMO. That would be an ATG slugfest possible passing of the torch but still at least classic Marquez slugfest! Rios will bring the bombs aggressively but Marquez will gladly fire back.

Yup. Peterson is showed that he is still here and will remain a factor at 140.

I really like my boy Peterson, and I'm not trying to disrespect at all, but, he looked like a fighter that comes back from getting caught with "illegal substances". I a credit the rough start to rust, but throughout that whole fight, he wasn't as sharp (physically) that he used to be.

Edit: I'll give Peterson the benefit of the doubt, and say that Hunter probably over trained him for this fight, and for his return. Either way, physically, he wasn't as sharp.

Holt isn't a world beater but nobody's embarrassed him like that. I respect guys like Holt and usually guys like him and Kirkland, Tyson, Gatti, Rios, Froch, Katsiditis are some of my favorites to watch because they just throw bombs until somebody lands and if they can land that one clean shot on your jaw your most likely going down.

I thought he'd at least drop Peterson and win a few rounds in a tough 12 decision. But nah Peterson beat him down like a red headed step child. That was like Golovkin making a statement beatdown on Rosario to 160. Maybe he won't be as great as Golovkin could be at 160, but he definitely will give the best fighters a run for their money or will die trying.

Bradley already taxed that azz and dropped him.....people must have forgotten that fight.

Nobody said Holt was some great technician but lets not pretend Bradley gave him a beating. Schooling's are totally different and Holt knocked him down way worse!

Peterson beat him down. I'm happy for him. I want to see him fight Garcia.

Bradley certainly did not tax that ass and also was dropped hard himself
