  • Why are HBO and Showtime allowing TR and GB to fight each other?

This is turning a phkkn joke now, these 2 networks are letting these promotional companies fight each other but some how they think this is healthy.

How is it good that on November 10th I gotta pick between cards, this is supposed to be the pro level yet these guys are acting like ametuers, somebody needs to step in and stop this nonsense.

Tell what ya think, am I overreacting and or are you okay with boxing competing against each other on the same day.

If they're competing with each other it makes fights cheaper for the networks

I like this alot because now I'm not forced to watch a card that sucks. I have the option to choose. I also feel like HBO and Showtime are upping both of there games because of this.

More stacked cards ftw. More counter programming ftw. DVR <3

It is actually great for the sport, if they're competing on the same day it is in the promoters best interest to put on the best card possible. Look at Canelo v Lopez vs Chavez jr v Martinez. One had to pack the undercard with quality in order to compete with the main event of the other.

It should happen more often, I don't think boxing/fight fans realise how behind the times the actual sport is.

I know right? The publicity of both fights being on the same day also helps a ton.

I thought this was fantastic for the sport since Sept 15th, and will continue to do so. I mean just look at the cards coming up. They keep getting better and better.

basketball, baseball, football, etc etc.. all have multiple games going on at the same time... you know why thats good?, because it gives consumer's a choice.... competition will lead to better fights

The more boxing on TV the better, I don't have any issue other sports that have multiple games on at one time~

I enjoy having a lot of boxing to choose from~

Please post the last time UFC and Strikeforce were held on the same day, and you comparing boxing to the major sports is idiotic statement.
