  • Floyd's Jail time good for Boxing?

Will the 90 days in the cage make Floyd rethink his future and drop his bull**** 100% PPV hog demands and finally agree to fight Pacquiao?

I agree Floyd deserves more than 50-50 split on the PPV but 100-0 is complete bull****. They should average the last 3-4 fights of each fighter and compare PPV numbers and match it up like that. Maybe the time in jail will make Floyd change his mind... what do you all think?

Boxing goes on with or without Floyd. He'll be out in no time anyway.

Manny will hold things down until Floyd returns. Hopefully these fighters can stop juicing so that no more fights get cancelled.

I know that it won't happen but it would be an awesome storyline if Floyd and Manny were to fight in NOV/DEC.

Yes it is is good for Boxing because when he gets out and announces his next fight everyone will be interested to see how he is. It is only 3 months but his release will be talked about throughout.

        Regardless of the jail time...

I don't see him fighting Paquiao this year. He will ponder such thought next year, which is supposed to be his last year before retiring.

He will take another fight before the end of the year, possibly Khan, and such fight will determine whether the Pac fight happens or not. If he beats his next opponent in a dominating fashion, the megafight might be possible.
