This guy constantly writes articles on the MMA section of ESPN bashing boxing. I have yet to see any of the big boxing writers take any shots at MMA but yet this douchebag is constantly ragging on boxing. He made a statement in his blog that somehow James Toney's loss and him laying on the mat looking at the ceiling is symbolic of what is going to happen to boxing. He must feel threatened by boxing or he must be a typical MMA guy that i know. They didnt grow up watching boxing and therefore cant get their facts straight about boxing. Boxing has seen a horrible year but i have yet to see anywhere where he has said that the last 2 big boxing events sold more PPV then the last 2 biggest UFC events. I didnt see anything about Pac drawing 51,000, or that the UFC event in Oakland a few weeks ago drew about the same as what Ward draws there. This dude needs to get a life and focus on MMA. I dont see Dan Rafael on ESPN bashing UFC. Here is the last paragragh of his blog.
"Fair or not, Toney had a big "boxer" banner on his chest this weekend. And for the first time in his 83-fight career, he got a good look at the ceiling at the same time his native sport got a good look at its future."
