    Mayweather Jr. attacks Pacquiao anew
    February 1, 2010, 1:24pm

Floyd Mayweather is back on the offensive.

After weeks of silence, Mayweather said in a radio interview over the weekend that he doesn’t believe somebody like Manny Pacquiao could accomplish things in sensational fashion without the aid of illegal drugs.

“In a fighter’s career, a fighter starts off good and he’s good until the end of his career or a fighter starts off good and then goes downhill towards the end of his career,” Mayweather told radio-planet.tv as quoted by boxingscene.com.

“A fighter doesn’t start like Manny Pacquiao, just ordinary, and then once he gets over 25 (years old) he becomes an extraordinary fighter. It doesn’t work like that in this sport of boxing,” said Mayweather, whose megabuck match with Pacquiao fell by the wayside after the two fighters failed to agree on a drug-testing procedure.

With Pacquiao all set to face Joshua Clottey of Ghana on March 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Mayweather has also found a willing dance partner in Shane Mosley with the two agreeing to square off on May 1 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao was so piqued by Mayweather’s nasty allegation that he even filed a defamation suit against Mayweather as well as his father Floyd Sr. and uncle Roger and Golden Boy Promotions last month. — Nick Giongco

The entire Boxing World knows that 'Lil Floyd is JEALOUS of the Pacman. All the Glory and Honor is being bestowed on the "Greatest Fighter" of this Generation and poor Pretty Boy is feeling bad about it. Oh well. JAT

              I agree with Floyd here.....

If you see Pacman against Barrera II /Marquez II then watch him against David Diaz

Yes, jackass, a fighter can start out like Manny, be average in lower weight classes, and then get better. Two reasons, when he was in the lower weight classes he was skinny as hell and had good power. Now he has moved up in weight and it is all muscle, hence the transformation from good power to dynamic power. The other reason is the one Paq haters probably hate worse than they hate Paq himself, the multiple time trainer of the year, the man with the plan, Freddy Roach. (did you know he has Lou Gherigs disease and still gets in that gym everyday?). The longer he is with Paq, the more Paq learns about the sweet science, and the better he gets. Is he a conventional trainer, no, he is an original, he is reinventing the sweet science before our very eyes. Floyd and his crowd are so arrogant they dont believe anyone can be as good as, much less possibly better than Floyd, without cheating. Floyd grew up in a boxing family, he has been getting trained since he could walk. Ever seen those videos of him at about age two with boxing gloves on? Paq didnt hook up with someone who really understood boxing until he was twenty. If had grown up in the presence of boxing veterans like Floyd did, he likely never would have lost a fight in his life.
