  • Let's not get carried away..

Gamboa did look impressive last night but Mtagwa's style was perfectly made for Gamboa. Yes, Mtagwa did take Lopez to hell but it's two different styles between Gamboa and Lopez. Mtagwa is really slow and doesn't really have any skills, all he got is a big heart and a decent chin so Gamboa took advantage of that with his power and sharp punches. Let's see until Gamboa's next fight and how he does, hopefully it's someone with good boxing skills.

you're wrong. gamboa might have the fastest hands in boxing. him or valero. (yes both faster than pacquiao)
i would LOVE to see gamboa vs valero in a year or so
gamboa has arrived and is faster than any featherweight though, i don't think mtagwa landed a punch. he needs to fight chris john NOW! HBO champiopnship boxing in june, witgh juanma on the undercard.

Valero does not have the fastest hands in boxing.

Indeed, Gamboa looked good yesterday but people are all over his nuts after that fight, people need to relax he's what 27/28? he's probably in his prime with only 17 fights under his belt.

I'm sure he has a bright future but people saying he has the fastest hands (I think Khan has the fastest) and that he resembles Jones jr are going a bit overboard.

That said I hope a fight gets done between Lopez and Gamboa it would be great to watch.

The little guy has fire in those fists but he isn't all that. The guy still hasn't tighten up his D and he still gets hit a bunch. He's good but Lopez would spark him out if they meet up.

WOW.. some people here are hilarious with these outrageous claims..

Amir Khan doesnt have the fastest hands in boxing..

Gamboa had a great performance last night.. Dont discredit him..
Improvements will come with every fight

                End of thread
