  • Here's the Filipino version of a pincho

    Traditionally, we don't include it with veggies, and I don't think the PR's really do it with veggies either, I guess it's a matter of preference.

    Filipino bbq is usually just beef, pork and chicken on skewers, marinated with a tangy/sweet sauce. What sets it apart from other Asian skewers such as the Yakitori or the Korean bbq on skewers is that Filipinos use a "banana ketchup" yes, it's real bananas(it's a certain type of bananas) mixed in with other spices, the finish product is color red.

    lol we don't use bannan ketchup that is so western.. we use spicy vinegar and patis for sauce.

      Depends bro, and yeah we don't use American ketchup aka tomato ketchup but some like to include Banana ketchup as part of the marinade.

        here is different bannana ketchup is not used and i never saw anyone use banana ketchup on bbq in here. Most are using chicken oil its also good to mix with rice and bread.
