This is one underated fighter. Eubank called him the smartest fighter he ever fought. He beat Michael Nunn, altho that was a far past prime Nunn. And he had two great battles with Henry Maske, both which he lost but the first one was very close. He also had that infamous court battle with WBC when they stripped him of his title without reason. It was when Roy Jones decided to return to 175 and Rocchigiani got demoted to interim champion, only to get fully stripped not much later. It really was the dirtiest thing you can do to a fighter.

He was also ahead against Dariusz Michalczewski before he got disqualified for throwing a punch during the break. I must say he did look a little brutish to me, but nevertheless was a good fighter.

He had a big following and was a huge name in Germany. But in the ring he just covered up and threw straight head shots. He did have a good left hook to the body, though. Very difficult defense to get through...

Certainly nothing spectacular!
