  • Who has won the most boxing titles?

    I tryed to google it and couldn't find the answer. Im not talking about weight different classes.

    Not 100%, but I think it's DLH on paper...
    Pac, Leonard, Hearns & Jones are up there to..

          He's speaking of titles, not weight classes. This means it is likely to be a fighter in recent years with the establishment of the four-belt system. That said, I think it may well be DLH, as fighters tend to win titles at different weights more often than unify extensively.

            De La Hoya has 9, I believe. Thought Roy Jones Jr might be close, but he had 6. Holyfield had the 3 at CW, then 3 from Douglas, 2 from Bowe, 1 from Tyson, 1 from Moorer, 1 from Ruiz, for a total of 10. But some of Holyfields were repeats of the same belt, so 6 if you don't count those.

              DLH was the same with the WBC belt at WW I believe. Holyfield is the only other name I can think of that has collected a truly large number of titles, so unless we're just drawing a huge blank I'm willing to bet it's these two.

                Looks like Thomas Hearns had 6 as well, would've been 7 if he'd gotten the nod against Leonard in the rematch, or if you count rewinning his WBC JMW title.
