  • Wladimir Klitschko's top five greatest wins.

Alot of people think Wladimir K is a great champion who could match up to past heavyweight champions.

He's into his 50's in terms of numbers of fights. More than alot of heavyweight greats have had even post retirement.

So I think it's time to ask the question. What are Wlads top five wins.

Every great heavyweight has their great wins. What are wlads?

    Ruslan Chagaev
    Chris Byrd
    Samuel Peter
    Jameel McCline/Ray Mercer
    Calvin Brock/Tony Thompson

I'm not a fan of Wlad but it's not his fault his resume lacks big names, there simply aren't any. I believe he's really perfected his style of fighting right now, he seemed on top of his game against Chagaev, extremely confident in what he was doing...I think he's at his peak right now and will be tough for anyone to beat him.

I still think he's a faag though, lol, but I gotta give him his props, he's earned them.

Waldo's has plenty good stoppages, but Saturday night was his biggest triumph, I don't think that can be argued. Povetkin will be another big scalp, then Arreola or Haye (if there is anything of him left after Vitaly KTFO him). So the best is yet to come. Bring it on!

David Bostice was regarded as one of the top American heavyweight prospects at the time, and had never been stopped or even knocked down before. Wlad put him on the canvas twice in the first and twice in the second. Bostice openly wept in his corner after the fight, and was never the same fighter afterwards.

Paea Wolfgramme had an excellent amateur pedigree, and was physically bigger than Wlad at about 280 pounds. He had never previously been stopped or even knocked down, and had lost only one close decision. Wlad knocked him out in the first round.

Monte Barrett, who was highly regarded at the time, had never previously been stopped or even knocked down, but he went down five times in the fight.

The underrated Tony Thompson had never been stopped or even knocked down before he fought Wlad (he had only one close decision loss in a four round fight).

Phil Jackson was a strong puncher, but I don't rate him as one of Wlad's better wins.

So would it be fair to assume he could beat all past heavyweight champions Lewis, Tyson, Ali etc.

Something many of Klitschko's fans say is probable.

                    Undefeated fighters (7)

                    Chagaev 25-0
                    Ibragimov 22-0
                    Brock 29-0
                    Peter 24-0
                    Castillo 18-0
                    Shaheed 16-0
                    Vujecic 14-0

Former, future or current world champions: (8)

                    Byrd (2)
                    Peter
                    Chagaev
                    Ibragimov
                    Mercer
                    Brewster
                    Rahman

The best statistic on Wladimir Klitschko, though, is HOW MANY OPPONENTS HE'S KOed WHO WERE NEVER STOPPED BEFORE. I believe he's the best of the past 50 years in this category. There are so many:

                    Thompson
                    Bostice
                    Barrett
                    Shultz
                    Chagaev
                    Shufford
                    Mercer
                    Vujecic
                    Brock
                    Castillo
                    Shaheed
                    Wolfgramme

                    and several others.
