A Long Rant!!
My day has been stupidly crazy. First I'm sitting around with my family everyone's almost done eating, when the air conditioner goes off abruptly. I say wow that sounded wierd. My daughter says, "mom some guy just did something to that box outside and ran to his truck, now I don't have electricity". OMG.. I thought I paid the bill but apparently I didn't, after the wreck and just crazy few weeks..I didn't think about it,cause I thought I paid it. I don't remember getting any disconnection note either, so I run around looking for a stupid number for them. The lady says that it was due to be turned off on the 20th, I told I didn't get any letter. That it would sure be nice if someone came to the door and said "hey I'm turning your power off wanna pay it real quick?" After it was turned back on (within the hour), my computer never turned back on. The surge from them turning it off fried the motherboard and power supply. I call them back tonight(after speaking to my brother about the situation) to tell them my issues with the whole situation, being that they don't know whether I got the letter or not, they don't send it out certified. What if I had someone on oxygen or some type of medical equipment that needed constant electricity. She was just saying they send out medical letter for special circumstances. Uhm what if my grandfather had just come that week???? he'd be dead now! When I told her about the computer, she said "that didn't happen by us turning it off", I told her the lady at best buy, specifically asked me, "did your power go off?" And it worked completely fine before you did, so yes it was caused by that! She says I can call the claims dept.
But now I'm stuck not having that computer. I'm soooo glad I took all my family's tax information off of it the other night
so anyone else not get a "april fools" after what you would consider to be a "joke"
