After tonights MMA, what thoughts are running through your head?

Lots to think about after tonight, i'll start off.

I really didnt think Vitor could do it, I thot Lindland would just Dan Henderson his way to a decision.

Being such a fan of old UFC I got suckered into believing in Vitor by watching old fights and wished he gave me one last Phenom like performance

BOY DID HE DELIVER!

Its nice to see Lil Nog get a big win. Maybe because he's in a STACKED division or maybe because his brother is Big Nog and they look exactly the same (are they twins btw?), no one EVER mentions him which is a travesty because I think he is so talented.

Upon research I never noticed how good of a record Lil Nog has (16-3, just like Shogun)

Renato Sobral is on a serious roll

Sokojou is not

Arlovski kept saying Fedor was "Only human"

Arlovski realized tonight he is too

I really get the feeling Josh Barnett can upset Fedor and score the biggest win of his career since his win over Randy Couture seven years ago

Anderson Silva is not p4p number 1, Fedor is, the HW division is much deeper then the Middleweight division

Dare I say the Phenom is back?????

I thought it was kind of ironic. I thought Arlovski would lose because he would be nervous and intimidated, but he actually gets over confident and loses because he threw that ****in' knee.

You know whats real ironic? I thot that while Fedor would win, I wouldnt be surprised of he lost by KO cuz people with iron chins have for some reason been getting knocked out and out of no where I find out it was Antonio Margarito who got knocked out by Shane Mosley. Talk about a curve ball

Fedor is the best fighter in MMA, and combat sports. If he defeats Barnett, he will have defeated every single top HW of Fedor's Pride HW title reign.

Belfort at 185 is scary. I'd love to see Affliction set up Vitor vs Robbie Lawler for the Wamma MW title.

Sobral and Nog are on tears, and easily both top 10 LHW's.

Great card tonight.

You have no idea how happy i was that Lindland got knocked out. I have hated the man since the first time i saw him fight, boring ass fighter.

Josh will get his ass handed to him as well. Fedor is a much better grappler and Josh has bad luck with strikers.

Barnett would have to get that fight to the ground, he's not fast enough to stand with fedor. then even if he got the fight to the ground, i would still give fedor an advantage there as well.

barnett would be a test, but think he gets subbed towards the end of round 1

Mosely has a deadly combination of speed, power and precision punching. I'm not surprized that he was the man to KO Margarito.

Agree with everything Dice except for Barnett. I wouldn't mind seeing the upset, in fact I'd love to see it, but I don't see what Barnett could do that Fedor isn't ready for.

Vitor looked like the Vitor that blew out Wanderlei all those years ago. Lindland looked like he was about to cry or had just seen his life flash before his eyes. Vitor has always had the tools to be the best but he either comes to a fight out of shape and is good for a round or two, he can't or won't pull the trigger or he is mentally drained and doesn't have the heart for it. Yesterday he looked like the Vitor that won UFC 12. Is the phenom back? I hope so.

Lindland is nothing unless he can get guys to the ground and just lay on top of them for 15 minutes.

Babalu makes that Brabo choke look like a work of art. Royce Gracie would've been proud.

Soko is slowly becoming a huge bust akin to Houston Alexander.

Yvel was impressing me early on, the end of that first round was some display of guts and composure. Shame cos after that I was really pulling for him to win it but Barnett just smothered him like Nigel Benn.

I would love to see Lil Nog in the UFC for a Shogun/Nog rematch as well as see how he would match up against guys like Rashad, Rampage among others. Fighting B-Class fighters like Dewees isn't doing anything good for his career. I say get a rematch with Soko, then match him up against Sobral. After that, who knows.

Fedor is P4P #1 now and forever. It's gonna take some special fighter to take that crown.

All in all it was a great event. Minus Chuck Zito and Scott Ferrall, as well as not letting Tito do interviews and they have a fantastic event lol.

BTW is what Larry Merchant said true in that they paid DLH $5 Million to turn up and help promote the event? If so wow, that for just turning up to a few press conferences.

the old vitor looked like he was back for sure. i cant believe lindland, he was in another world for a long time after that ko. i never really thought he was that great of a fighter imo. great wrestler, yes.

the paul beuntello fight was a good fight as well. his boxing skills are great and was surprised he didnt ko "baby fedor". its almost like he could have if he followed up after the jabs kept connecting.

i also cant believe how lond it took barnett to finish yvel. in the mount for 10 minutes and finally gets the tko. it tells you something, yvel is one tough sob. he took some decent shots from the mount and didnt seem too hurt till the end. barnett definetly got good skills and i think fedor/barnett would be a good fight. though i think fedor takes it.

soko vs sobral was a great fight as well. i think soko needs a year or two more of grappling/bjj training. he is still young and has time to make those improvements, then he will be a top contender.

fedor vs arlovski. the pitbull looked real good, i was impressed and then he got over confident. i actually think fedor was a bit surprised at how well arlovski was doing. but fedor is a smart man and took advantage of the mistake. and yes, arlovski has a weak chin and i cant believe how quickly the fight ended. wished it had at least gone into the second or third round

overall, it was a great night of fights, i cant complain
