Very good fighter when in the right frame of mind. Maybe he could of been champ maybe not.

Used to think he was innocent but now am not so sure. Great story though and regardless of whether he was guilty or not, I admire the mans mental strength to come through what he went through inside.

**** him. I stayed up until 4 AM watching the movie one day and looked up the real facts. He killed those people without a doubt. He doesn't even talk to those canadians anymore!! He's a douchebag who should have rot in jail

Carter was just a better than average talent, but he had monstrous punching power. His record was 27-12-1. The film about him was well acted and entertaining, but like most boxing movies, full of inaccuracies.

why do you think he's guilty?

He's absolutely guilty. Look at the evidence that was presented at the trial.

He was'nt released because he was innocent. He was released because of misconduct by the prosecution or somethin like that.
