We all know that Mosley rejected an offer from Floyd, but after the DLH fight, Mosley, who is obviously a tougher fight than Hatton, publicly stated that he wanted Floyd, but Floyd declined. Why did Floyd decline? I dont understand.

Floyd thought that Shane wasn't a big enough name and didn't have the charisma or fanbase for a mega-fight.

That's bull****, Mosley was still good. His fight with Mayweather would be bigger than baldomir and more important (to actual fans) than a Hatton fight. Now people sit there and ***** that Mayweather hasn't fought a real solid welterweight, well a Mosley fight would have proved otherwise. He should have taken that fight, it would be a huge name and a throwback to the days where the big names fought each other.
