NSB Classics: Let's have an LOL with The Semi Senor

Anyone remember when Semi used to rave about Jeff "LOL" Lacy? I've just found these two ****ing gems and they're GOLD.


Have a chuckle at this first:

At first glance, I figured a match between he and Mikkel Kessler was compelling......but not after I saw what he did to pemberton tonight.

I realize Pemberton might not be in the same leauge as Kessler.....but simply being a tall rangy super middleweight will not cut it against Lacy.

If they fought, I think it would be one sided.

I initially said Lacy would pound out a decision win over Kessler....but now I think he will simply knock him out in the early rounds.

Along with Calzaghe.

Joe stands virtually no chance against this monster.

In fact, I think everyone short of Cruiserweight would lose.

He takes to trade, and does a good job of doing that. He is patient, and has shown the ability to take a punch from guys who can crack:

This is Jeff Lacy after beating a shot Scott Pemberton, a shot Robin Reid and getting a UD over Shieka... a guy the Blow had TKO'd five years earlier.

...IMO he is an unstopable beast right now. He is gaining more confidence by the day. Calzaghe would be crazy to fight this guy and I suspect he knows that.

That was funny stuff, I knew Lacy was all hype after fighting Rubin Williams.

I wouldn't mind, but he was missing Pemberton all night, and it was obvious Pemberton couldn't be bothered to get back up. He could have beat that count IMO, but just turned up for a payday.

One thing that Semi did that I do shake my head at is say that he'd give The Blow all the credit in the world if he could beat Lacy.
