you can't really stick to a weight when you're still growing, and being told you have to boil down to a certain weight is bad at that age if it makes you feel weaker don't do it, if you think its justifiable then work/sweat it out.

I think its right that I loose the weight because I feel lightning fast at the 150-155 weight. I wish I had better control of this ****ing bull**** but I guess Its just my ****ing luck!

I usually weigh 152 but latly ive been stuck at 160-164. I dont know if its because im still growing and im 16 years old. I am really starting to loose hope and motivation towards my training and boxing. Does anyone know how to cut weight the right way because I dont know if im goona be able to just fail on making weight for this fight, It will mean too much to me to fail. Please help me out and by the way this bull**** could not be because I dont work my ass off in the gym not to mention I run atleast 2-4 miles 3-4 times a week.
Obviously you're not doing something right. That right there should do it.Plus an obvious diet. You must not be dieting. If you say you do they you're either lying or you're doing it completely wrong.

You will have to cut weight.

Its only 9 lbs and that is easy.

Ask your coach how to do it. I would tell you but you really should listen to people over the internet when it involves important things.

If I would say anything, it would be to just not over do it man. its only 9 lbs and you have a ton of time before you weigh in.

Also, you will have the weigh ins the day before right? Sometimes it is directly before a match and that really sucks.

I'll take you through my whole day.

Got up and went for a run, got home stretched for about an hour, then did some light pad work. Rested for awhile, went to the gym with a buddy threw on my thermals, then my tracksuit, then a sweater and beanie and worked hard for an hour and a half straight, pad work, jumping rope, running on the tread mill, plyo's and finished again with stretching then light grappling.

Saturday night at 10pm I was 154, went into the gym weighing 148 and left weighing 140 with all my clothes on and drenched in sweat (the scale was in the middle of the public gym) so I left, at the weigh in I was 135 wearing boxers. So my final weight was probably like 134.5 or so. By Monday at noon I was up to 155 again, might have been sooner, but that's the time it was when I stepped on the scale at the doctors office.

Thats pretty much all you need to do to lose 10 lbs.

Its water, remember that. Take multi vitamins and drink some water, dont starve yourself of it.
