So basically you're jogging at a very slow pace for an ahour and a half with alot of up hill?

It's quite good. VERY slow though. You should try mixing it up a bit. Put some 2 mile runs in but have the speed between 9-10mph. Then have some Intervals where you're jogging at 5mph for 3 minutes then sprinting at about 10-12mph for 1:30. Do this for about 15 minuts.

You will notice your stamina and fitness improve Massively after a few weeks of doing that.

I think this is really good. Certainly shows you're committed. How often do you do this training? I do agree with tuggers though, it is a tad bit slow.

Thats really awesome man, do you ever mix it up with intervals? or do a Fartlek run type deal with it?

          Thats some great endurance work.

speedkillz didn't say it was slow. I did

Running for 130 minutes is still good though.

Sorry Tuggers, an error on my part. And im not denying the road work by foremancrossarm is good, it just seems slightly one sided. My trainers preach high intensity training in combination with slow long distance running.

P.S. I apologise for the superficial nature of this post, but im experiencing internet problems and have to keep my posts short.

                Haha. dont apologise.

yeah if you're running 5 times a week you want 3 high intensity/interval runs and then 2 longer, slower runs.

I'm trying to put in at least 4 runs a week, 5 would be goal.
I'm going to work up to a 5 mph avg., 3000 ft. climb, 8.5 miles in the next 2 weeks.
Hopefully within a month or two I'll be up to 6 mph, mile climb, 10 miles.

I wanna work distance and climb. Nigel Benn style.
