  • First Fight tonight:

For the first time i felt sorry for the heavyweight professionals in the ring. Kennedy and Smith, they tried hard but just aren't athletes. Obviously not training enough. I just felt sorry for them.

Another update so far is Paul briggs was saying that Tarver has pulled out of his bout with Danny Green. But then another commentator (grant kieza maybe?) said that he was laughing for danny, which really confused me.

They also said Mundine would be looking on with Kessler-Calzaghe bout very closely. Fenech doubted whether Mundine could match it with him. Paul briggs disagreed and said "he has moved up to another level since their last fight".

An interesting night. Im most worried about Green not getting the fight. Lets hope Medley pulls this one off, you bloody ripper.

First fight was pathetic and that was being kind.

Medley has lost the first 3 rounds and is being beaten to the punch in my opinion.

Another round to the champ - Medley looks outclassed.

Robert perhaps won the last round and drew the 8th at best.
He really needed to throw more leather but seemed reluctant.

i cant begin to say how disappointed i am in rob. Yes he got put down, hurt and got up, but he was totally outclassed. If he had thrown his combos like he did in the last 30 secs of the fight, it might have been closer... THIS IS WHY OUR FIGHTERS NEED TO TRAVEL! They need to get those journeyman so its not taxi cab, then world title fight.

Could not agree more. A steep learning curve for him. Lacked heart tonight, except for the final 30 seconds of round 12.

Can someone upload some video of when the two big heavyweights fell out of the ring. It looked like they were making love.

they just cant go from 3-8 taxi drivers to 28-1 champs even paper champs.

I'd actually like to see the commonwealth titles mean more. Because between the main contenders (Britain, africa and australia) there could be some amazing match ups that could ONLY be good for our fighters.
