I'm telling you straight from Beterbiev's mouth, neither him nor his team received any offer or any contact. Nobody even made a phone call....
-
I'm sure she assumes that once he "graduates" he'll be able to get a great job and sustain himself? Awful parenting....

Canelo never offered anything to Beterbiev. An hour after his team made that claim, Beterbiev called it a lie, and said to call him to set a fight up.
crickets....

Has he ever fought a mandatory prior to this? If Benavidez was champ, he never would have pursued the belt in the first place, and if Benavidez had been mandatory he would have gotten the Adonis Stevenson treatment....

So he's gonna throw away his insurance claim for what? A beatdown by Canelo, or an even worse beatdown by Beterbiev?

Oh yeah, nobody wants that smoke. That’s why tank is fighting guys like Gamboa and Barrios.
weird you keep bringing up Campbell though. If Floyd’s wishings happened tomorrow and there was only one belt per division, tank would never have a pro belt either. Baby Broner about...

Hilarious coming from such a major and open Canelo sucker.
If Mosley was so washed up, why did Canelo fight him two years later? If Floyd was so awful with 2 catchweights, why did Canelo INVENT his own weight class? Gatti was a 130 pounder, yet he was the title holder in the fight? Genero...Last edited by _Rexy_; Yesterday, 03:24 PM.

Bit of a subject change, but did you ever see the ships that the Norse went on their explorations in? I couldn't understand how they lost so many men every trip until I got a good look at one.
Imagine god knows how many idiots sailing from Norway to Greenland to Iceland in...

From what I've read, that was in the original constitution, but was removed for South Carolina. Take it with a grain of salt though....

All goes out the window once you realize that "Bushido" was something made up long after the fact, and wasn't created until many years later. I've even read it argued that the term wasn't invented until the early twentieth century as a way to convince young japanese soldiers to sacrifice their...

Mongolia, for all of there strengths also had a very subpar Navy. A really interesting fact that always stuck with me, the Kamikaze as well as them fending off every other country that had ever invaded them had Japan think that they were unable to lose a war until the A Bomb was dropped on them in WW2....

My absolute favorite would be the film "Ran" which was the last movie by Japanese director Akira Kurasawa. Brilliant film that I can't reccomend more. That being said, because it was a loose adaptation of King Lear set in Feudal Japan, there are some details that are innacurate (mainly the...Last edited by _Rexy_; Yesterday, 02:18 PM.

This **** starting to remind me of that Chapelle's Show skit where all the racist animals from kids shows. "Yeah, Yall might have knew him as flipper, but we knew him as James....the ***** hatin' dolphin"...

His battle with Prograis is what sold me, Josh is the top guy in the division, and as I've said before, IMO Taylor/Prograis was the true 1/2 matchup at 140
but some people will hate regardless....

Very true! Samurai all started as horse bound archers and evolved from there. If my memory serves me, they used a few different types of swords here and there but didn’t switch over to the katana until after the first Mongol invasion when they learned their current swords were impervious to the...
