Shigeoka is very small even for the MW division. Taduran just looks a lot bigger....

you just leave it - the odds are the odds at time of putting the post up and from then on they do move and when they start out razor thin they can flip. And even flip back again....Citizen Koba

How could Fury be part of the deal if he's retired and hasn't put his name to it?
And why would Fury sign to fight Joshua after 2 fights that he might lose? (esp. the Anderson fight)...

He's been beaten by Dubois (badly) and Usyk (twice comprehensively) - there's no point in re-matching Dubois again after a 3rd round KO - if that fight got made there'd be loads of posters on here chirping away that they want to see fresh match-ups not the same old fighters rotated around and around....BlackRobb likes this.

Understand what you're saying but as there's a log jam at 168 with Canelo refusing to defend against the best and not being mandated to do so, then Plant is a contender along with the others - Ring magazine has him a no.4. It's not like Mbilli, Pacheco or Iglesias would be guaranteed a crack at Canelo...

To be honest, I'm British and I'd never heard of Collins. I'm more into elite fighters from around the world than domestic level dust-ups. I saw they were the same age, had sparred together but McGregor had been in with a higher level of competition. The only thing that gave me pause was that McG started...Tag, You're Hit likes this.

I don't know how Hearn, Warren and especially Arum fly constantly around the world with seemingly few ill effects - obviously they're in 1st class - but even so the jet lag! - I felt groggy for days after recently flying out to the far east....

What's your definition of a contender - someone who is unbeaten? If you get beaten twice by elite fighters are you automatically a gatekeeper? That's like saying Dubois was a gatekeeper after he lost twice to Joyce and Usyk (and Joyce never was elite) but now he's a belt holder again and fighting to...

Itauma is ready - 100%. Resume is one marker, but it's not the only one , it's what you do and how you do it. He has the est rhythm of any HW not named Usyk. He can KO you with his lead hand moving backwards - no other HW has done this in decades. He's ready and only his chin needs to be tested but...

How did that judge get a 116-113 score? - there were no points deducted - should be scored '10 points must' every round so it's either 115-113 or 16-112.

I wish I put some money on but I would never bet more than £20 given my finances o it wouldn't have made much difference. I think you are right - if had stayed disciplined and just fought to win 7 rounds and conserved his energy - but his punches had almost no effect on Ekow. Retirement mandatory n...steeve steel likes this.

You're right about guys not wanting to fight him - not unless they are paid a lot of money and that's why we should be content that Turki is investing - AT - because BT (before Turki) it would take 3 times as long.
Anderson is on a rebuild. For someone like Bakole - he'd make more money fighting...

Yeah, I can see a way for Taylor to come out and just befuddle Ekow but I just get a negative vibe coming from Taylor, he's talking about retirement and this would be a great last hurrah if he wins but equally if he loses it's in front of his fans. I think he had to fight at 100% of his potential to...

Sometimes you need to feel pressure to perform - i'm slightly in favour of an upset. Taylor would have beaten Essuman in 2021 but now he's not in his prime....
