I think it would be for the better if Mayweather was to train Devin Haney. Haney's boxing IQ and acumen is limited because he has never boxed before; Neither as an amateur or as a professional.

I congratulate Ryan Garcia on his victory. He had a very good game plan by the way and executed it superbly. However, there was something off about Devin though and I place all the blame on his father Bill. They knew that all Ryan had was that left hook and yet Devin still had trouble avoiding it all...

It would have been as equally as bad had Haney done Garcia the same way. By forcing him to cut down to weight that he never had any intentions or plans of making himself.

Devin lost to a very good fighter that’s all. Ryan always had more natural ability than Devin Haney..

Ryan Garcia should have been randomly VADA drug tested prior to the Haney fight. Chances are he was probably juiced to the gills that night. That is the one area where Eddie Hearn as Devin Haney’s promoter dropped the ball....
