Was Lee ever signed with pbc though or was he signed to a specific promoter who had ties to showtime? But yes I’d love to

I would venture to guess that’s a fight on its way in the future. Having watched boxing for 5 decades now, usually when two fights of the same weight with a measure of notoriety are on the same course that means a collision for the future is being set up. Simple marketing...pnut901 likes this.

Lampley isn’t wrong. Garcia gets shots based on being a social media sensation. He was wiped out mid rounds by davis and will get soundly beaten by Haney. His social media fans will not translate to being fans of boxing or other fighters just as the teenage girls who used to follow DLH didn’t...

This is the truth. The promoter wars after 2018 when you had pbc, top rank, and matchroom all on the American boxing scene drove the prices up and made it so the fighters had to be overpriced for promotions to stay afloat oddly. Nah, atmosphere matters. That’s why Americans loved seeing big fights at Wembley to see 90,000 pyss head brits signing boisterously. Or all the American celebs at the fights in Vegas or NYC. Did any of us really like seeing the covid era fights with no fans? I personally don’t remember any...CubanGuyNYC likes this.
