I really hope it does, we need to see Ennis in there with a live body. I think these are two of the best of the next generation post Crawford-Spence....

100%. I can’t really see Beterbiev on points either. I feel like it’s Beterbiev by stoppage or Bivol on points, but, in saying that, I would’ve said Ryan on points was the least likeliest outcome last weekend. ...crimsonfalcon07 likes this.

Barrios is very fortunate to hold a belt at 147, he’ll be looking to cash those chips in, no doubt.
MR have just won the purse bid for Ennis-Crowley, ironically. Wonder if PBC throw their toys out the pram and pull Crowley out though....

I’m just not sure Bivol hits hard enough though. If you can’t get rid of Lyndon Arthur, I don’t think you can put a dent in Beterbiev. I expect Bivol to outbox Artur early on but at some point I just think Beterbiev catches up to him. I could be wrong though, as much as I’m being...crimsonfalcon07 likes this.

I think he’s excellent at what he does, I just suspect he won’t be that difficult to figure out. If he turns back Beterbiev I’ll happily admit I’m wrong....

That was a good win, no doubt, can’t say I’ve ever been a big Zurdo fan but Bivol was levels above....

I don’t think Bivol has looked that impressive other than against Canelo tbh. The Craig Richards fight would be the obvious one, I think he’s guilty of coasting through fights. Beterbiev will not allow him to coast for one second....

I think Matias would murder Ryan. Surely GBP don’t put their cash cow in with a killer like “No Mas” Matias.
Good point tbf man, I do think Ryan has a lot of sway....

I see Teofimo as the biggest fight out there he could potentially win. Both guys have some quality attributes but they both have their flaws too.
Would be a massive fight....

FTR, I’m not trying to downplay the importance of controlling range . I’m just saying a lot of fans mistake these long athletic guys who rely on being out of range as elite defensive fighters when in reality they’re anything but....PBR Streetgang likes this.

If you were GBP, who do you match Ryan with next?
Pretty much anyone from 135-147 will want a piece of Garcia.
I’d be looking at Teofimo or possibly a weak belt holder at 147 like Barrios.BoxingParadigm likes this.

I think that’s a good rebuilding fight for Haney. I expect that fight to be next.

I don’t think Bivol does anything special. Very good fighter who makes very few mistakes but he doesn’t do anything extraordinary.
Not saying that’s necessarily a bad thing either, he’s very textbook, if a kid walked into a gym and asked me who should I watch to...

Think it may have already been made public but pretty sure Jonas-Mayer 2 lands on this card.

Beterbiev will put far more pressure on him than anyone else ever has. I’ll be very interested to see how Bivol deals with it.
Bivol has excellent fundamentals but I’m just not sure that’ll be enough to beat Beterbiev who also possesses very good fundamentals and also...
