  • All of them high-profile commentators got punked, didn't they? Paulie even lost $100K betting on Haney. I didn't see a single person, professional boxer, veteran, aficionado, you name it, that didn't favor Haney winning the fight. Devin Haney kept saying he'll KO Garcia. So it's pretty much a cherrypick...

  • Yep. It's a cherrypick gone wrong fight for Haney. From day one Devin was a massive favorite because of his perceived skills. Garcia adding weight didn't even change the odds one iota on fight night. It even added to the negative narrative like Ryan being undisciplined, didn't take training seriously,...

  • Nah, Ennis' team never pursued those fights. You should be watching Bozy's interviews. They're all there on Youtube where every time a youtuber mentions a name he immediately shuts it down, ie, nothing to gain from a Kavaliauskas, Benn, Ellis, etc. He went running to Espinoza when BLK offered the Crawford...

  • Only "PBC talent" you can speak of that was given to Ennis was a career 140 guy Lipinets. The rest like Dulorme, Clayton, Karen, Villa can take fights everywhere. Either Ennis' team avoided fights available to them at PBC or PBC didn't cooperate. Guys like Kavaliauskas, Stanionis, Barrios,...

  • You should be answering that question yourself. You assume what fans want is what they want. Of course, nobody knows what they want....

  • You should have read my response a bit carefully. I said "IF Boots wants the fight." Meaning, in life you don't get to be beggar and a chooser at the same time. Who cares what they want? Who who? Fighters hold the cards, not fans. You're asking me if I want that fight? What a silly question....

  • I'm not even sold on this Madrimov fellow. He's just another Spence without the car crash. But if it's a fight that can make Bud Crawford active, what can we do otherwise?

  • But Boots is staying at 147, while Bud is moving to 154. To me if Boots wants that fight, there's no reason why he can't make 154. He's big enough to move up. No draining on both sides is necessary....

Nah, I don't believe that. Point is when you're running out of bums to cherrypick, you gotta have the conscience to at least take past prime, but capable fighters. Frank never even thought of fighting Charles Marin, for example, and Prince Charles had to cross the street and beg for fights outside of...

  • It's a simple case of money being the issue. Nothing complicated about it. Whether it's he said, she said, they said, none of that nonsense is necessary. No such thing as you can have all the facts by just scouring the current media. Who is to determine bias anyways? Only thing missing is Spence's response....

You have to wonder why Frank Sanchez wanted no part of Luis Ortiz who is a stable mate at PBC. Sanchez cherrypicked total bums, yet didn't have any time for Ortiz.

Good for Crawford. It's what he's been waiting for. Not good for the sport, though, imho, rewarding inactive fighters with lucrative deals.

Fight should be a ticket to land a fight in the oil-rich country if they perform well. Ortiz needs fights ASAP desperately. Clock is ticking for him.

  • It always depends. Devin Haney and Tank Davis had spats with each other on social media ten times as much dating back years, not to mention face to face, yet their fight never materialized, and most people think it will never happen anytime in the future, especially now that the weight difference is...
